
Kinston Draws More Than 14,000 Fans To Season Opening Homestand

Kinston, NC - The Kinston Indians Opening Season homestand was a success, as the K-Tribe drew 14,796 fans to Historic Grainger Stadium. The total number of fans was 5,000 more than the opening homestand last season and the biggest total in more than a decade! The Indians averaged more than 2,100 fans a game over the seven game homestand, including drawing over 3,500 fans for two different contests!
The K-Tribe hits the road for the first time this season, as Alex White gets the start in Winston-Salem on Friday night to kick off the seven game road trip.
The K-Tribe will be back in town on Friday, April 23rd for a six game homestand. The homestand begins with a Fireworks Friday on April 23rd against the Advanced A Affiliate of the Atlanta Braves the Myrtle Beach Pelicans. The fun continues during the homestand with Star Wars Night on Saturday, April 24th. Don't miss the excitement as the K-Tribe is back in Eastern North Carolina for six games in seven days April 23rd through the 29th.
