The Kings opened a three-game series with a 12-7 win over Evansville on Sunday in front of a season-high crowd of 5,436 at Homer Stryker Field. Lee Naplin pitched seven innings and improved to 5-2 on the season with the win. Darryl Blaze hit his second homerun of the season and had three RBIs. The Kings and Otters play again Monday night at 6:35 p.m.
