Kings win over Roosters 9-6

The Kings took advantage of a seven-run second inning en route to a 9-6 win over the Richmond Roosters in the opening game of a three-game series at Homer Stryker Field. Brandon Rogers was 2-for-3 with a home run, two RBIs, and two runs scored. Darren Uranga also had two hits and an RBI. Carlos Sepulveda hit a home run and had two RBIs. Greg Wiltshire picked up the win in relief, and Jake Brooks earned his eighth save of the season. The Kings and Roosters play again Sunday at Homer Stryker Field at 5:35 p.m.
