July 27, 2008 - Frontier League (FL)
Kalamazoo Kings News Release
The Kalamazoo Kings finally pulled off a come from behind victory in defeating the Florence Freedom 8-5 Sunday afternoon. Despite falling behind 4-0, the Kings were able to accomplish what they couldn't in Chillicothe.
Jorge Araiza started the comeback with a 3 run HR in the fourth. Then, the offense followed that up with four runs in the sixth to take the lead for good. One more insurance run was added in the eighth to settle the final score. Bernard Robert struggled in his second start for the team by allowing three HR's and five ER's overall in 5 2/3 innings.
Fortunately, four Kings relievers shut out the Freedom over the final 4 1/3 innings to close the game.
