Manchester Monarchs News Release
MANCHESTER, NH - The Los Angeles Kings, the parent club of the Manchester Monarchs, on Monday agreed to terms on a one-year contract with left wing Ryan Flinn. As per team policy, terms of the agreement were not announced.
Flinn, 24, played in 59 regular season games with the Monarchs this past season, recording eight points (3-5=8) and 164 penalty minutes, which were second most on the team (Joe Rullier - 186). Flinn also played in six post-season games with the Monarchs.
The 6-foot-5, 248-pound native of Halifax, Nova Scotia, has played in 29 career regular season NHL games, all with the Kings, and has one point (a goal) and 29 penalty minutes. Flinn was originally signed by the Kings as a free agent on January 9, 2002.
The NHL's future stars will all converge on Manchester when the Monarchs host the 2005 Dodge AHL All-Star Classic at the Verizon Wireless Arena on February 13-14, 2005. At this time, the only way to get a ticket to this marquee event is to purchase one of three Monarchs Season Ticket Packages (Full, Half and 10-Game). Tickets to the 2005 Dodge AHL All-Star Classic will go on sale to the general public this fall. For more information, contact the Monarchs at (603) 626-PUCK.
