Kings Dramatically Win 5-4
August 13, 2009 - Frontier League (FL)
Kalamazoo Kings News Release
In what has become routine fashion, the Kalamazoo Kings pulled out another walk off win with a 5-4 win Thursday night. This marks the eighth win in their final at bat as Josh Short drove in Joe Ramos in the bottom of the ninth for the victory.
Bernard Robert threw a great game, going seven innings while only allowing one earned run and striking out nine Rascals. A key moment came in the eighth when Dan Baerlocher came in with runners on second and third with no outs and struck out two while getting the third out on a ground out to not allow a run.
