Kentucky Weslyan's Ferguson is allocated to the WBA's Kentucky Reach

Atlanta, GA - The World Basketball Association (WBA) and Commissioner Mike Glenn announce that Franlkyn Ferguson, a 6-6, 222lb, PF from Kentucky Weslyan, has been allocated to the Kentucky Reach. Ferguson averaged 16.3 points, 7.6 rebounds and shot 56.1% from the field, while leading KWC to a 15-12 record during his Senior season. He turned a career performance on February 12th of this year, when he downed 32 points and pulled 13 rebounds against Wisconsin Parkside. As a Junior, Ferguson averaged 8.6 points and 4.9 rebouns. Before coming to KWC, Franklyn played at Lake Region State CC, where he averaged 24.5 points and 9.5 rebounds.

The 12 team WBA, in its second year of existence, is a developmental professional league designed to teach, develop, and expose basketball players to NBA, NBDL, CBA, and International Scouts while providing each community an exciting brand of basketball and entertainment. The purpose of the WBA, under new Commissioner Mike Glenn, is to serve as a training ground to develop professional players, coaches, and personnel on and off the court. Emphasis is placed on fundamental development, career development, community involvement, and education. The WBA is the next best thing to the NBA! The WBA will hold its Free Agent Draft Camp on April 15-16 at Life University in Marietta, Georgia.
