Miles College's Joseph King allocated to Birmingham's Magic City WBA team

Atlanta, GA - The World Basketball Association (WBA) and Commissioner Mike Glenn announce Joseph King, 6-7, Forward, from Miles College, has been allocated to the Magic City Court Kings (Birmingham, AL). King led the Golden Bears to an 16-11 record in his Senior season, while leading the team in both scoring and rebounding categories at 18.8 points and 10.7 rebounds per game. King registered high games of 32 points versus Delta State and Lane College and also had a high rebounding game of 18 boards.

The 12 team WBA, in its second year of existence, is a developmental professional league designed to teach, develop, and expose basketball players to NBA, NBDL, CBA, and International Scouts while providing each community an exciting brand of basketball and entertainment. The purpose of the WBA, under new Commissioner Mike Glenn, is to serve as a training ground to develop professional players, coaches, and personnel on and off the court. Emphasis is placed on fundamental development, career development, community involvement, and education. The WBA is the next best thing to the NBA! The WBA will hold its Free Agent Draft Camp on April 15-16 at Life University in Marietta, Georgia.
