Kent Patterson Assigned to Cutthroats from AHL

DENVER - The Denver Cutthroats announced today goaltender Kent Patterson has been assigned to the team from their American Hockey League affiliate, the Lake Erie Monsters.

Patterson, 24, returns to the Cutthroats after appearing in four games for Lake Erie with a 2.14 GAA and a .921 SV%.

The Plymouth, Minnesota native began the year in training camp with Lake Erie before being assigned to the Cutthroats where he compiled a 12-8-3 record with a 3.08 GAA and a .910 SV%.

The rookie goaltender was named the Central Hockey League's Goalie of the Month and Rookie of the Month in December when he finished with a 6-1-1 record in eight games to compliment his 1.85 GAA and .943 SV%.

Goaltender Michael DiLorenzo has been waived from the team.
