
Kelowna beats Cougars again

The Kelowna Rockets defeated the Prince George Cougars 4-1 on Saturday night in Prince George, winning both Western Hockey League games against the Cougars this weekend.
Four different Rockets scored in the win as Kelowna outshot Prince George 49-15 in the victory, which moved the club one game over .500 and was their fifth straight road win.
Shane McCoglan opened the scoring with his 15th of the season. After the Cougars had tied the game 1-1 in the second, Tyrell Goulbourne scored his sixth of the season, a goal that would stand up as the winner.
Myles Bell, with his 10th, and Carter Rigby, with his 14th, also scored for Kelowna.
Adam Brown earned the win in net, his second of the weekend.
Kelowna's record moves to 24-23-2-4 as they head back to Kelowna to return to Prospera Place on Wednesday against Seattle. Following that the Rockets and Kamloops Blazers play a home and home series on the weekend including a Saturday night game in Kelowna.
