Help us White Out the Competition!!

The South Carolina Stingrays announce the official theme for the Kelly Cup Playoffs 2009. The "White-Out" will begin April 14, 2009 as the Stingrays take on the Charlotte Checkers at the North Charleston Coliseum in game 3 of the first round, best of 7 game series.

Exclusive playoff t-shirts are on sale now through the front office and at every Playoff Home game for $15. Fans are encouraged to wear white to the games in support of the Rays. SECOND SEASON SUB-PLOTS

The South Carolina Stingrays arrived this morning in Estero, FL in preparation for tomorrow night's game.

South Carolina's Maxime Lacroix is tied for the rookie lead in the Kelly Cup Playoffs with three power-play assists and four power-play points.

Brad Farynuk leads league defensemen in the postseason with three power-play goals and is tied for the postseason lead with three goals and five power-play points.

THE REST ON THE QUEST

The Las Vegas Wranglers won a decisive game seven last night, by beating the Bakersfield Condors 5-1.

The Stockton Thunder moved on as well after defeating the Ontario Reign 5-4 in the seventh game of their series.

With everything set up for the second round, the Division Finals, there will be no games played today in the ECHL.

BLAST FROM THE PAST

To say that the Stingrays and Everblades have been evenly matched this season is an understatement. South Carolina went 6-6 against the 'Blades while going 3-3 at the North Charleston Coliseum and 3-3 at Germain Arena.
