Saskatchewan Roughriders News Release
The Saskatchewan Roughriders are pleased to announce running back Kenton Keith has been named the CFL Offensive Player-of-the-Week.
Keith was amazing in Saturday's winning performance at Taylor Field against Montreal. The second-year running back set a career high with 146 rushing yards and two touchdowns on only 17 carries. The 24-year old only needs 37 more rushing yards this season to crack the 1,000-yard mark for the first time in his CFL career.
Keith joins Reggie Hunt, Paul McCallum, Eddie Davis and Scott Schultz as Riders who have won CFL weekly awards this season. Keith won this award twice last season, including the Western Semi-Final in Winnipeg when he ran for 140 yards and three touchdowns.
