New York Boulders News Release

In Senoo Katsuya's first game as a Boulder, Rockland (20-26) fell to New Jersey (26-20) in the second game of the series 7-4 on Saturday night. The former Shikoku Island League All-Star played error-free baseball at shortstop and recorded a double.

After the two teams exchanged runs early, the Boulders put two on the board in the second inning after Grant Heyman scored on a wild pitch and Ryne Birk's RBI double. The Jackals responded by tallying four runs in the fourth inning, one in the sixth, and one in the seventh.

The Boulders play their final game before the All-Star Break against the Jackals on Sunday. First pitch is scheduled for 1:30 at Palisades Credit Union Park. Following the conclusion of the contest, kids run the bases for free.
