Nashville Kats News Release

NASHVILLE (March 3, 2005) – The Nashville Kats have announced their 2005 Little Kittens Dance Team, a junior pro dancer program which offers children between the ages of seven and thirteen the opportunity to learn professional, age-appropriate choreography and then perform it before more than 16,000 Kats fans.

For a registration fee of $85, the 2005 Little Kittens program will include three dance clinics with personal interaction and instruction from the KatsÂ’ Music City Kittens dance team, an official Little Kittens t-shirt, a pre-game meal and tour of Music City Kittens locker room, a souvenir group photo and the chance to perform at halftime of the KatsÂ’ game against the Los Angeles Avengers on Sun., April 17. Each participant will also get the opportunity for family and friends to purchase tickets to the game on a first-come, first-served basis.

All performers are responsible for their own jazz pants and shoes. The performers will rehearse at the Nashville Athletic Club, where the Music City Kittens rehears. Additionally, the dancers will learn first hand what goes into an on-field game day performance and feel like a real professional dancer.

Registration forms can be printed online from the KatsÂ’ official website, katsonline.com.
