Kansas City Current News Release
KANSAS CITY - The Kansas City Current exercised its 2022 contract options on six players and extended new contract offers to seven players.
Players whose options were exercised include defenders Kristen Edmonds, Michelle Maemone, Maddie Nolf, midfielders Gaby Vincent, Addie McCain and forward Kristen Hamilton.
Goalkeeper Katelyn Rowland, defenders Katie Bowen, Taylor Leach, Kate Del Fava, midfielders Lo'eau LaBonta, Desiree Scott and forward Jaycie Johnson have received new offers and are currently out of contract with the club.
Kansas City has chosen not to exercise contract options for midfielder Jordyn Listro and forward Arielle Ship. In addition, defender Sydney Miramontez has indicated her intention to retire.
The Current now have 19 players under contract heading into the 2022 season.

Defenders (7): Elizabeth Ball, Rachel Corsie, Kristen Edmonds, Hailie Mace, Michelle Maemone, Maddie Nolf, Mallory Weber

Forwards (5): Kristen Hamilton, Darian Jenkins, Mariana Larroquette, Jéssica Silva, Michele Vasconcelos+
* Carly Nelson on loan to FC Nordsjćlland through June 2022
