
Kamloops Blazers Acquire Kyle Masters and 1st Round Pick from Red Deer

Kamloops, BC - The Kamloops Blazers have announced that the hockey club has acquired 19-year-old defenseman Kyle Masters and a 1st round pick in the 2025 WHL Prospects Draft in exchange for 18-year-old defenseman Mats Lindgren.
Masters is a fourth round draft pick of the Minnesota Wild in the 2021 NHL Draft. The Edmonton, AB native has played 109 career WHL games and has 27 points.
"We are excited to add a player like Kyle to our team," commented General Manager / Head Coach, Shaun Clouston. "Kyle plays a well-rounded, 200ft game and we believe he will be a great fit with our group to our defense."
Masters will join the Blazers for training camp with on-ice sessions getting underway on Friday, September 2nd.
