March 12, 2024 - Western Hockey League (WHL)
Tri-City Americans News Release
Kennewick, WA - Tri-City Americans general manager Bob Tory announced today the team has signed 2006-born forward Kale Margolis to a scholarship and development agreement.
"Kale is a big center with good puck skills, vision, and hockey IQ," said Tory. "He is very good on faceoffs. He will be a welcome addition to our team."
Margolis, from Kinistino, Saskatchewan, wrapped up his 2023-24 U18 season with the Prince Albert Mintos of the Saskatchewan U18 AAA League this past weekend.
In 44 regular season games Margolis posted 40 points (19-21-40) before leading his team with six points (2-4-6) in five playoff games as the Mintos fell to the Swift Current Legionnaires in their opening-round playoff series.
The six-foot, 200-pound Margolis has joined the Americans in Vancouver and is expected to make his WHL debut tonight against the Giants.
