Kalamazoo Kings News Release
In a wild series the Kings pulled off a sweep of the Evansville Otters. This morning the Kings jumped out to a 5-0 lead after scoring a run in each of the first five innings, then held off another Otters rally to win 6-3. Every Kings starter reached base at least once, with five different hitters driving in a run. Staff ace John Brownell threw six innings, only allowing four hits. The starters have delivered so far this year, throwing four quality starts in the past five games. The Kings head out for their first road trip of the year on Friday against the Southern Illinois Miners.
