VANCOUVER, BC - Whitecaps FC 2 defender Kadin Chung has been called up to the Canada U-20 national team for their upcoming training camp and friendlies, the club confirmed on Friday. The team will hold a 10-day camp in the United States and Honduras from November 6 through 15, including a pair of friendlies against Honduras on November 12 and 14 in Tegucigalpa.

Chung rejoins the national U-20 side after most recently participating in the camp and friendlies in Costa Rica last August to September. In March, the 18-year-old Port Coquitlam native scored for Canada in a 2-1 win over England's U-20 team.

"Qualifying is right around the corner so this camp comes at a vital stage in our preparation," said Robert Gale, Canada U-20 national team coach. "This is a great opportunity for us to bring together players from both sides of the pond."
