
Ciman, Oyongo & Venegas Selected for International Duties

MONTREAL - Defenders Laurent Ciman and Ambroise Oyongo, as well as midfielder Johan Venegas, have been selected by their national teams to take part in upcoming international games.
Ciman will return to the Red Devils for a friendly against the Netherlands on November 11 at the Amsterdam ArenA, in Amsterdam, before hosting Estonia in a UEFA Group H qualification game for the 2018 FIFA World Cup, on November 13 at Stade Roi Baudouin, in Brussels.
Ciman has played 14 games with the Belgian National Team, making his official debut with the Red Devils on May 19, 2010, against Bulgaria. He scored his first international goal on June 16, 2016, in a friendly game against Norway. He started one game against Italy at Euro 2016 and was on the roster for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. He also played qualifiers for Euro 2012, Euro 2016 and for the 2018 Word Cup in Russia. He also took part in the 2007 U21 UEFA Championship with Belgium and suited up for his country at the Olympic Games in Beijing in 2008, with the U23 team.
Oyongo and the Cameroon national team will meet with Zambia on November 12 in the second game of the third round of CAF qualification for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
Oyongo has played 18 games for Cameroon, scoring his first goal on January 20, 2015, in a 1-1 draw with Mali at the Africa Cup of Nations. He made his debut with the selection on September 6, 2014, against the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Venegas and Costa Rica will start the hexagonal round of 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers with two games, starting with Trinidad and Tobago on November 11 at Hasely Crawford Stadium, in Port of Spain, before facing the United States on November 15 atEstadio Nacional de Costa Rica, in San Jose.
Venegas has scored six goals in 28 games with the Costa Rican national team, making his senior debut on September 3, 2014, against Nicaragua in the Copa Centroamericana. He recently played in the Copa America Centenario in the United States, scoring his sixth international goal on June 12 in a 3-2 against Colombia. He has also appeared in four 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup matches and four 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification games.
