
K-Wings Return Home for Two Games this Weekend

KALAMAZOO- The Kalamazoo Wings will only be home four times in the month of March, with two of those games occurring this weekend.
The K-Wings will return home this Saturday, March 7th, with a 7:30 p.m. face-off versus the Fort Wayne Komets during Autism Awareness and Special Olympics Polar Plunge Night presented by Sam's Club and supported by Consumer's Credit Union.
Head coach Nick Bootland, assistant coach Colin Chaulk will represent the K-Wings along with staff members Chuck Gower and Matt Valinski.
The Polar Plunge will occur this Saturday from 3-4:30 p.m. on the Wings Stadium ice, with registration beginning at 1:30 p.m. The K-Wings will take their plunge near the conclusion of the event.
Anyone that participates in the Special Olympics Polar Plunge will receive a FREE ticket to the K-Wings game later that night against the Fort Wayne Komets.

The K-Wings will conclude the weekend on Sunday, March 8th with a 3 p.m. faceoff versus the Indy Fuel during a Family Hockey Day in the 'ZOO and Kibbles and Sticks Day. The first 500 kids (ages 12 and under) will receive a FREE Kids Meal and Slappy Poster courtesy of Dr. Jeffery Riggs Family Dentistry.
Family's can also make their experience special by visiting the face-painters and taking a snap shot at the FREE photo booth.
Following the game the K-Wings will host a post game skate with the players, presented by United Healthcare (skate rental if needed is $3).
Kibbles and Sticks will give fans the opportunity to bring their dogs to the game. Tickets for dogs are $5, with the proceeds going to the Animal Rescue Project.
Tickets for all K-Wings home games are currently on sale at Wings Stadium Ticket Office, all Ticketmaster locations, including www.ticketmaster.com or by calling (800) 745-3000.
Fans that plan on attending multiple games can avoid service fees plus enjoy a discount from the single-game price by purchasing a 12, 24 or 36-game flexi-plan.
