K-Wings Represent Half of All-Rookie Team

Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the International Hockey League, announce K-Wings' Rick Cleaver, Rob Jarvis and Tommy Lange have been named to the IHL All-Rookie Team, as selected by league head coaches, general managers and members of the media.

The Aquafina IHL Rookie of the Year, Cleaver, finished the season leading all rookies in points with 61, goals scored (27) and assists (34). Cleaver's scoring touch was also felt on the power-play, leading rookie scoring in power-play goals (8) and power-play assists (11). Besides earning the league's top rookie honor, Cleaver was also named the K-Wings' Centennial Wireless Rookie of the Year.

Cleaver was a three-time recipient of the league's top weekly rookie honor. During the month of December, Cleaver was named the Aquafina Rookie of the Month, recording 15 points, including eight goals.

Stellar on the K-Wings blue line, Jarvis ended his rookie campaign racking up 36 points (11 goals, 25 assists). Not only was he a force among the rookie class, Jarvis is atop many defensive scoring categories. Jarvis finished tied for fourth in goals scored (11) among defenseman and tied for second with three game-winning goals. He also finished second among rookies with nine power-play assists.

Jarvis made impressive offensive contributions for the K-Wings. Jarvis completed the season tied with teammate Casey Handrahan as top defensive scorer for Kalamazoo with his 36 points. During the season, the Ottawa, Ontario native also went on three multi-game point streaks.

Rookie center, Tommy Lange, finished his first pro-year with 49 points (25 goals, 24 assists). Finishing the season strong, Lange shined in the month of March, recording 12 points (9 goals, 3 assists). During the month of March, Lange tied a K-Wings' and league season-high six-game goal streak, recording seven goals during that stretch. As a result of his accomplishments, Lange took home the league's Aquafina Rookie of the Month.

Lange also joins teammate Cleaver as a three-time recipient of the league's top weekly rookie honor.

The K-Wings return home to Wings Stadium this Saturday, April 18th for game two of the Turner Cup Semi-Finals versus the Fort Wayne Komets. Before the game, the K-Wings will host a Pepsi Pep Rally from 5-7 p.m. in the South Parking Lot.

Individual playoff tickets are on sale now to the general public. Tickets for K-Wings home games in the postseason will range from $10.90 (Blue Level)-$15.90 (Red Level). Seats for kids 12 and under will cost $7.90. Ticket will increase $1 on day of game purchases.

Playoff strip packages for one-year season ticket holders or new playoff strip purchasers will range from $87.20 (Blue Level)-$127.20 (Red Level). Strips for kids 12 and under will be $63.20.

Packages for current two-year season ticket holders will range from $82 (Blue Level)-$120 (Red Level). Strips for kids 12 and under that are two-year season ticket holders will be $56.
