K-Wings Add Peralta

Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the ECHL and affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers and San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League, announce the signing of forward Sal Peralta; per team policy, the terms of the contract will be undisclosed.

Peralta joined the K-Wings after starting his professional career with the Bakersfield Condors of the ECHL. The native of Leamington, Ontario, has also played two games this season in the International Hockey League with the Quad City Mallards.

A four-year standout at the University of Western Ontario, Peralta finished in the top four in scoring in all four seasons with the Mustangs, including being leading-scoring in his sophomore and junior seasons.

Before playing collegiate hockey, Peralta spent your seasons in the Ontario Hockey League splitting time with the Windsor Spitfires and the Toronto St. Michael Majors.

Peralta will make his K-Wings debut this morning, as Kalamazoo battles the Toledo Walleye with a 10:30 a.m. face-off at the Lucas County Arena.

The K-Wings will return to Wings Stadium Friday, November 13th with a 7:30 p.m. encounter versus the Cincinnati Cyclones. The game on November 13th will also be the K-Wings first Frugal Fan Friday, which features $1 beer and $1 hot dogs.
