Kinston Indians News Release
Kinston begins a four game homestand against the Potomac Nationals tonight at 6:30 pm at Historic Grainger Stadium.
Road Sweet Road - The K-Tribe finished up a successful roadtrip with a 3-2 record, taking a series from Lynchburg and splitting a rain shortened two game series with first place Salem. Kinston is now 6-5 on the road this season.
May Day' - May will be the month to make a move for Kinston, of the seven series left in the month, six will be against teams with losing records. Two with Potomac (10-15), Two with Frederick (12-13), Lynchburg (9-15), Winston-Salem (9-17) and Myrtle Beach (17-9).
A Brilliant Bullpen - The K-Tribe's bullpen has been great as of late. Kinston reliever's have thrown the last 27 innings without giving up an earned run (only two unearned runs). The streak goes back to game one of their double header against Salem more than a week ago.
