Lynchburg Hillcats News Release
Wilmington, DE- As the Hillcats traveled up north to face the Wilmington Blue Rocks Monday through Wednesday this week, the New York Times' Tyler Kepner saw an opportunity to run a story on Luis Salazar's inspirational come back to managing.
Salazar sat down with Kepner Tuesday afternoon at the team hotel in Wilmington, graciously sharing his story once again. He expressed his thanks for the opportunity to continue his career after the accident and his preference to managing in the minor leagues as opposed to coaching at the Major League level. Kepner's article ran in this morning's edition of the New York Times. Follow the link below to read his piece.
