The K-Tribe will enjoy an off day on Monday and continue the homestand on Tuesday at 7pm, as Greenville native Alex White will take the mound against the Lynchburg Hillcats.
Power Bars- Kinston's offense has come to life in the first two games of the series, combining for 12 runs and scoring 7 in last night's win, which tied a season high. They have also hit three homers in the last two games after they had just one home run in their first 14 games. The K-Tribe has climbed out of the batting average cellar of the Carolina League, with their team average up to .229.
McGlovin- Despite leading the league with 24 errors, Kinston has had exceptional defense at the corner infield spots. First baseman Nate Recknagel (1.000 fielding percentage) and third baseman Kyle Bellows (.974) each lead the league in fielding at their respective positions.
