The K-Tribe is 3 1/2 games behind first place Myrtle Beach with 18 games left in the first half. The playoff push continues tonight as the K-Tribe starts a seven game roadtrip with a three game road series at Winston-Salem. 11 of Kinston's last 18 games in the first half are on the road. Game time 7pm in the Triad.
Kinston Wins Another Series - The K-Tribe completed a season high fifth straight series win with Thursday's 7-6 victory over Wilmington. The Blue Rocks overcame a two run deficit with Rey Navarro's seventh inning homer but the K-Tribe reached the Blue Crew's pen for two in the eighth and Preston Guilmet clung to the advantage for his 12th save.
