Bats Heating Up- The K-Tribe bats are starting to turn around after a slow start. Kinston has 10 hits in each of the last two games, scoring nine combined runs. Kyle Bellows has back-to-back 2-hit games, Jason Kipnis had his third 3-hit game of the year, and Abner Abreu had his first 2-hit game of the season yesterday, while Nate Recknagel is on a 4-game hitting streak. The team batting average has risen from .200 to .229 over the last 3 games.
