
Juniors Unveil Third Cuts

Montreal, August 24th, 2009 - The Montreal Juniors announced today their third selection after the second pre-season game. Sunday, the Juniors won 4-3 against the Shawinigan Cataractes in Shawinigan.
Forwards Hugo Desharnais-Roux, 6th round pick at the 2009 QMJHL Entry Draft, Marc-Antoine Fréchette, 10th round pick at the 2009 QMJHL Entry Draft, Christopher Smith, who played several games with the Juniors last season, and defenseman Vincent Scopelleti (Ste-Thérèse) were released by the team.
The Juniors will now play at the Bob Birnie Arena in Pointe-Claire to meet the Gatineau Olympics on August 28th.
