
Junior Mammoth to hold tryout

DENVER - The Junior Colorado Mammoth lacrosse team will hold an open tryout for the 2007 team at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 28 at the Westminster Sports Center.
Check in begins promptly at 8 a.m. and the tryout will conclude by 2 p.m. The Westminster Sports Center is located at 6051 W. 95th Ave.
Athletes are strongly encouraged to register early by printing out the registration form and waiver and mailing them to Colorado Mammoth Lacrosse. A copy of a valid US Lacrosse membership card must be included with the registration form and waiver. Memberships to US Lacrosse will not be made available during the tryout. A nonrefundable registration fee of $30 is required. Payment may be made by credit card or a check made out to Colorado Mammoth Lacrosse.
The Junior Mammoth, presented by HealthONE, consists of male athletes who are 12 years of age and younger on Jan. 1, 2007 and will compete during select halftime games of regular season Colorado Mammoth home games. The team may have travel opportunities as well.
Lacrosse equipment is required for participation in the tryout, including helmet, mouth guard, stick, shoulder pads, gloves and arm pads. Only short sticks will be permitted.
