Jungle Kats Host Women's Football Camp

CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Cincinnati Jungle Kats are excited to announce the date and time of the Inaugural Beauty of You Empowering Women's Football Camp. The camp has been a success around the league and is looking forward to continuing its success in Cincinnati. This year's camp will be held on July 11from 6:00pm - 7:30pm at U.S. Bank Arena.
The 2007 Women's Camp will serve as an introduction to some of the fundamental skills to the sport of football. The camp will also present some of the skills and drills that are specific to the game of Arena Football. Instructors for the camp will include Jungle Kats coaches and players whose goal it will be to create a fun competitive environment for the camp's participants. The Jungle Kats instructional staff will put the participants through a typical Jungle Kat practice. At the camp, women will have fun with numerous drills including: calling plays, throwing passes, running routes, blocking, catching, and returning kicks.
The 2007 Beauty of You Empowering Women's Football Camp is open to women over the age of 18. There is no cost to attend the camp, and participants will receive a complimentary ticket to the following Jungle Kats game against the Green Bay Blizzard on July 14th at 7:30pm. In addition, camp participants will receive a goody bag provided by several Cincinnati area vendors. The Kats are home this Saturday, June 23rd, when they welcome in the division rival Louisville Fire to U.S. Bank Arena at 7:30pm.
