Jumbo Shrimp Announce 2019 Schedule with 70 Home Dates

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The fans of Northeast Florida can make plans for more affordable family fun at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville with the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp, as the Miami Marlins Double-A affiliate announced dates for 70 home games during their 2019 season presented by Community First Credit Union, beginning with the home opener Thursday, April 4, against the Jackson Generals.
In the 140-game 2019 Southern League schedule, the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville will host Jumbo Shrimp home games on 13 weekends overall. Jacksonville will be home for 11 Fridays, 11 Saturdays and 11 Sundays. Included are home series during Mother's Day Weekend Saturday, May 11, and Sunday, May 12, and leading up to Independence Day June 30-July 3.
Fans can enter to win 2019 season tickets and view a full schedule of home games here. Game dates are subject to change. Game times and the full promotional schedule will be announced at a later date. Individual game tickets will go on sale in March.
Season ticket renewals and new packages for the 2019 season may be reserved with a nonrefundable 25 percent deposit by calling a Jumbo Shrimp account representative at (904) 358-2846 or at the box office, which is open Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and during home games for the remainder of the 2018 season.
The Jumbo Shrimp have 14 regular season home dates remaining in 2018, with back-to-back fireworks nights on the last weekend of the season, following the 7:05 p.m. game Friday, Aug. 31, and the 5:35 p.m. doubleheader Saturday, Sept. 1. Fan Appreciation Day is the season finale at 2:05 p.m. Monday, Sept. 3. Promotions and tickets are at www.jaxshrimp.com/tickets.
