Wahoos 2019 Schedule Officially Set

Pensacola Blue Wahoos News Release
PENSACOLA, Fla. - The Pensacola Blue Wahoos have released their 2019 schedule. The team will open the season just a short drive away at Hank Aaron Stadium in Mobile, Ala. for five games against the BayBears before returning for the home opener on Wednesday, April 10 against division rival Jacksonville. Pensacola will host 11 popular Friday giveaway nights and Saturday fireworks dates plus 10 Family Sundays.
The team will be home on Easter Sunday hosting Mobile on April 21. The Blue Wahoos will host the Mississippi Braves on Wednesday, July 3 for the team's annual Independence Day celebration. Pensacola will play at home on Father's Day, Sunday June 16 hosting the Tennessee Smokies before beginning the Southern League All-Star break the next day on June 17.
Pensacola will play Bay-to-Bay rival Mobile 25 times during the season with 15 of the meetings taking place at Blue Wahoos stadium. The Wahoos will host a 10-game homestand from May 28-June 6 welcoming the Mississippi Braves for five games and then the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp for the last five. Pensacola will be back and home for nine more games against the Biloxi Shuckers and M-Braves from June 25-July 3.
The Blue Wahoos will play a total of 70 home games at Blue Wahoos Stadium in 2019. The season will wrap up in Montgomery with a five-game series ending on Monday, September 2.
