Capital City Go-Go News Release

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The NBA G League announced today that Washington Wizards two-way player Jules Bernard was named Player of the Week for the week of February 5 - February 11.

Bernard averaged 26.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 1.5 steals while shooting .667 from the field and .909 from the free throw line during the week. His performances helped the Go-Go secure back-to-back wins at home on February 6 and February 8 against the Western Conference second seed Rio Grande Valley Vipers. Bernard is the second Go-Go player to earn the award this season after Jared Butler was named Player of the Week for the first week of the regular season.

Bernard's 26.5 points per game ranked eighth in the G League for the week and his .667 field goal percentage was the fourth-most in the league among those who averaged at least 20 points per game. He had the highest plus-minus stat in the league, averaging 27.5 for the week. Additionally, his 8.5 rebounds per game were also the fourth-most among guards last week.

Through 12 games of the regular season, Bernard is averaging 21.0 points, 6.3 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.3 steals per game for the Go-Go. He has appeared in six games with the Wizards, averaging 1.2 points per game.
