Josh Altmann stepped up to the plate next and launched his league-leading 17th home run of the season. Altmann's 56 RBI is top-five in the American Association, as well.

Chicago Dogs starting pitcher Johnathon Tripp threw a strong 4.1 innings. Tripp limited Lake Country to only three hits, two earned runs and tossed eight strikeouts. Tripp was most commanding in the top of third, when he struck out three Lake Country hitters.

Lake Country starting pitcher Juan Hillman surrendered five earned runs through 4.1 innings. Hillman threw a dominant first four innings, but he exited the game once the Dogs' offense came alive.

The Dogs' bullpen threw 4.2 innings and didn't allow a run. Jake Newberry, Joe Cavallaro and Brian Schlitter only allowed three hits and struck out for DockHound hitters over that stretch.

Newberry has been dominant since joining the Dogs after the All-Star break. He's made three appearances out of the bullpen and hasn't allowed a run.

Schlitter secured his 10th save of the season for the Dogs. Schlitter has totaled 17 saves for Chicago since joining the team last season.

The Dogs' offense consistently applied pressure on Lake Country pitchers. Chicago racked up 14 hits and five walks on Tuesday. The team's 14 hits are the most in a game since June 28.

The Dogs look to continue their win streak Wednesday night at Impact Field. The first pitch is set for 6:30 p.m.
