
Jokipakka Recalled by Dallas Stars

CEDAR PARK, Texas - The Texas Stars, American Hockey League affiliate of the NHL's Dallas Stars, announced today defenseman Jyrki Jokipakka has been recalled back to the NHL by Dallas.
Jokipakka (YIHR-kee YOH-kee-PAH-kuh), 23, has appeared in 19 games for Dallas this season, posting five assists and 16 shots on goal. The defenseman has registered five points (three goals, two assists) in 19 games for Texas this season.
The 6-foot-3, 210-pound native of Tampere, Finland was selected by Dallas in the seventh round (195th overall) of the 2011 NHL Draft.
