Jiménez Completes MLB Rehab, Lambert Recalled

The Charlotte Knights announced two roster moves on Wednesday, July 6 ahead of the team's game against the Gwinnett Stripers from Coolray Field in Lawrenceville, GA.
OF Eloy Jiménez completed his MLB Rehab Assignment and was activated by the Chicago White Sox today. Jimenez, 25, appeared in 17 games with the Charlotte Knights on rehab (two rehab stints) and hit .246 (14-for-57) with eight runs scored, two home runs and seven RBIs. He was originally placed on Chicago's injured list on April 24 with a right hamstring strain. Overall, this season with the White Sox, Jimenez is hitting .222 (8-for-36) with two runs scored, one double, one home run and seven RBIs in 11 games.
RHP Jimmy Lambert was recalled by the Chicago White Sox. Lambert, 27, has started five games with the Charlotte Knights this season. The California native posted a 0-3 record with a 9.24 ERA (12.2 IP/12 SO). With the White Sox this year, Lambert is 0-2 with a 3.45 ERA (15.2 IP/13 SO) in nine games (two starts) over three stints.
