Omaha, Nebraska -The Omaha Beef Of the United Indoor Football Association is pleased to announce the annual Ronald McDonald House, "Jersey Off Our Back Auction." The Jersey Auction will take place July 8th, during the Beef's last regular season game against Ft. Wayne Freedom. All proceeds will go directly to benefit the Ronald McDonald House of Omaha.
The Ronald McDonald house is one of the many charities the Beef support. The Ronald McDonald House, Ronald McDonald Family Room and Ronald McDonald Care Mobile - are focused on helping families in need. Their cornerstone Ronald McDonald House program began in 1974 based on a simple idea: Provide a "home away from home" for families of seriously ill children receiving treatment at nearby hospitals. Since that time, more than 10 million families around the world have benefited from the comfort provided by a Ronald McDonald House.
The event will take place in Fan Services located in the main concourse of the Civic Auditorium. The silent auction will start at 7:15 and run till the end of the 4th quarter. At the end of the 4th quarter, the highest bid will start the bidding for the live auction. The live auction will take place on the field.
Tickets still remain for the last regular home game of the season. The Beef will take on the Ft. Wayne Freedom and secure their spot in the UIF play offs. For ticket information contact Jenny Cheney at
