This game will be another playoff type atmosphere for both teams as the Beef and BlueCats have each won two in a row in their quest to qualify for the UIF playoffs. Both teams still have work to do, but with a win, Omaha will be able to clinch a playoff spot next week in Sioux City. The Beef forced four turnovers in their 28-10 victory over Bloomington last week. Opposing quarterbacks are only completing 48% of their passes vs. the Beef defense, only one defense in the league is allowing less of a completion percentage. RJ Rollins is the leading rusher in the UIF with 574 yards and he continues to lead the league in touchdowns with 20. Evansville started the season 1-4 and has since moved into a position where they control their own destiny in the hunt for the playoffs. The BlueCats have not scored under 40 points since they beat Fort Wayne on May 20, 33-31. Evansville's offense is averaging the fifth most points per game in the UIF with 41.6 points per game. The BlueCats recorded five interceptions last week to bring their turnovers created to 23 on the season, which ranks fourth in the league.
