St. Louis Cardinals RHP Matt Morris has recorded a 13-5 record, with his most recent decision coming in a 2-run, 6-inning performance win vs. San Francisco on August 20th. Morris has pitched in 147 innings this season and has 96 Ks against 27 walks. Morris picked up his 100th major league win against the Giants. OF Covelli CoCoCrisp, currently with the Cleveland Indians, is hitting .294 (128-436) through 106 games with 31 doubles, 3 triples, 9 HRs and 64 runs scored. 2B Adam Kennedy with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, is hitting .329 (101-307) with 15 doubles, 2 HR and 34 RBIs and 15 stolen bases in 94 games. Oakland As RHP Dan Haren is 10-9 with an ERA of 4.00 in 26 starts for Oakland. Haren has thrown 166.1 innings and has given up 85 runs (74 earned) on 166 hits. He has 122 strikeouts and only 43 walks. Haren had his 9 game winning streak snapped August 12th against Minnesota

BIRDS OF A FEATHER (Memphis Redbirds Class AAA Pacific Coast League OF Skip Schumaker is hitting .295 (119-403) with 25 doubles, 6 HRs and 30 RBIs. INF Bo Hart is hitting .275 (112-407) with 33 doubles, 8 HRs and 39 RBIs. RHP Josh Pearce is 2-2 on the season with an ERA of 3.24 in 21 games. He has 27 Ks against 6 walks in 33.1 IP.

OZARK MEN (Springfield Cardinals Class AA Texas League)

INF Kevin Estrada is hitting .295 (86-292) with 19 doubles, 5 HRs and 19 RBIs in 91 games. RHP Mark Nussbeck is 1-0 in 4 appearances giving up 1 run in 6.1 innings with 6 Ks. RHP Corey Doyne is 1-0 with an ERA of 1.85 in 41 games with 15 saves. Doyne has thrown 48.2 innings with 46 Ks.

AT THE BEACH (Palm Beach Cardinals Class A Florida State League)

INF Matt Shepherd is hitting .293 (125-426) with 26 doubles and 53 RBIs in 115 games. RHP Mike Sillman is 6-2 with an ERA of 2.72 in 51 appearances with 20 saves. He has thrown 59.2 innings and has struck out 71.
