Jay Pandolfo Signs with Falcons

November 18, 2010 - The Springfield Falcons, proud members of the American Hockey League, announced today they have signed forward Jay Pandolfo to a Professional Tryout Agreement.

Pandolfo is entering his 15th professional season after spending the previous 14 campaigns within the New Jersey Devils organization. The Burlington, MA native has played in a total of 819 career National Hockey League games all with the Devils and he has also appeared in 131 career playoff games in the NHL. Pandolfo was a member of both the 2000 and 2003 New Jersey Devils Stanley Cup winning teams.

Prior to joining the pro ranks, Pandolfo spent four years at Boston University from 1992-1996 where he played in 133 games collecting 78 goals, 89 assists good for 167 points. In his senior campaign of 1995-96, he led Hockey East in goals with 38 and was named to the NCAA All-American Team, as well as being named the Hockey East Player of the Year.
