Wild Reassigns Falk to Houston

HOUSTON --- The American Hockey League's (AHL) Houston Aeros, affiliate of the National Hockey League's (NHL) Minnesota Wild, today announced that Wild General Manager Chuck Fletcher has reassigned defenseman Justin Falk from Minnesota to Houston.

Falk, 22 (10/11/88), posted two assists and was a plus-two while accruing six penalty minutes in 16 games with the Wild this season. The 6-foot-5, 217-pound native of Snowflake, Manitoba, averaged 14:44 time on ice (TOI). He played three games with the Wild last season, while tallying nine points (3-6-9) in 69 games with the Aeros.

Falk was originally selected by Minnesota in the fourth round (No. 110 overall) of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.

The Aeros (8-6-1-2) visit Grand Rapids this Friday (6:05 p.m. CST) and Chicago Saturday (7:35 p.m. CST). The team returns home Sunday at 4:05 p.m. vs. the Texas Stars.
