
Jason Tucker back with Eskimos

(Edmonton) The Edmonton Eskimos announced today that Jason Tucker , the CFL's leading receiver in 2005, has agreed to terms on a new contract. Tucker, a four year Eskimo veteran, was eligible for free agency.
Last season , Tucker racked up 89 receptions for 1411 yards and 11 TDs and was named to both the CFL West and CFL All-Star teams. Tucker's outstanding play carried over to the playoffs. Against Calgary in the the CFL West Semi - Final, Tucker led all Eskimo receivers with six receptions for 70 yards and one TD. One week later, Tucker hauled in four catches for 95 yards to help Edmonton down BC in the CFL West Championship. At the 2006 Grey Cup, Tucker caught five passes for 46 yards and one touchdown in overtime as the Esks defeated Montreal.
Eskimo Head Coach Danny Maciocia says " Having Jason return was a priority for the Eskimos. He's an outstanding player who delivers in key situations in big games".
