OKLAHOMA CITY, OK - The Bakersfield Jam (10-17) fell to the Oklahoma City Blue (8-19) 111-86 Saturday night at the Cox Convention Center.

Bakersfield jumped out to an early 11-3 lead, but Oklahoma City surged after to a 27-13 run and finished the opening quarter with a six point advantage (30-24). The Blue kept its momentum in the second period as they extended their lead to 19 points and went into the break ahead 58-44.

In the third quarter, the Jam got within 11 points but that would be as close as they got in the second half. Oklahoma City built their biggest lead of the game (26) in the final frame.

Overall, the Jam shot a season-low 35.7 percent from field and got outrebounded 55-32.

Derek Cooke Jr. notched a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds, while Xavier Silas posted 16 points and five steals. Terrico White (13) and Xavier Munford (11) also scored in double-figures.

The Blue were led by Ted Wells (20 points) and Talib Zanna (20 points, 11 rebounds). Josh Huestis, on assignment from the Oklahoma City Thunder, added 18 points and six rebounds.

The Jam will return home and take on the Texas Legends on Tuesday, January 26 at 7:00 p.m. PT.
