RENO, Nev. - Just more than three minutes into the third period, Reno flipped a six-point halftime deficit into a lead it did not relinquish, as the Bighorns roared back for a 98-81 victory over the Bakersfield Jam Saturday night in the Reno Events Center.

The Bighorns (17-12) opened the second half on a 14-4 run and never looked back. Reno forced 20 Bakersfield turnovers, while committing just nine. The Bakersfield Jam (16-12) played with only 7 players tonight.

Danny Green-acquired by the Bighorns this week-led the charge for Reno, scoring 20 points with a game-high 11 rebounds and four assists. Donald Sloan poured in 22 for Reno, while Jeremy Lin, playing on NBA assignment from the Golden State Warriors, finished with 16 points, nine boards and five assists.

Derrick Byars led four Bakersfield players in double figures with 21 points and 10 rebounds. Jeremy Wise added 15 points, seven boards and five assists. Stephen Dennis finished with 16 points off the bench and Kenny Taylor hit three three-pointers on his way to 12 points.

The Bakersfield Jam return home to face the Springfield Armor on Friday, February 4th at the Jam Events Center at 7 p.m.
