Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies News Release
ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. â The Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies of the ECHL have announced that forward Alexandre Jacques has been assigned to the club from Milwaukee of the American Hockey League. Jacques will join the Bullies in Peoria, and is expected to play in tonight's pivotal Game 4 of the Northern Division Semifinals.
Jacques, 26, made his Bullies debut on March 26 at Toledo with a goal and an assist. He was re-called by Milwaukee on March 28. In 43 ECHL games this season between Toledo and Atlantic City, Jacques tallied 25 goals and 49 points. The Laval, PQ native has 1 goal and 2 assists in 11 career playoff games.
Jacques ECHL rights were acquired by the Bullies from Toledo on March 5 in exchange for forward John Longo and defenseman Danny Eberly. Jacques signed a contract with Milwaukee on March 26 and has appeared in just two games for the Bullies since the trade. In 21 games with the Admirals this season, Jacques finished with a goal and 12 assists.
Center Jim Henkel and defenseman Brian Fahey returned from AHL assignments in Lowell and Hershey respectively before yesterday's Game 3.
To make room for Jacques on the roster, defenseman Tom Galvin has been placed on the 7-day injured reserve.
