Aces wait on Vegas, Idaho
April 13, 2004 - ECHL (ECHL)
Alaska Aces News Release
ANCHORAGE, Alaska â The Alaska Aces will put tickets for round two of the 2004 Kelly Cup playoffs on sale first thing tomorrow morning at 8:00, even as their opponent remains uncertain.
Game One of the best-of-five Pacific Division Finals has been set for this Friday, April 16, but only one team has earned entry at this point, with Alaska becoming the first team to advance to the "Elite Eight" in the ECHL by virtue of its three-game sweep of San Diego in the first round. Friday's game will be played either in Sullivan Arena, which welcomed a playoff-high 6,451 fans into its doors for last Friday's series-clinching 5-1 win over the Gulls, at 7:00 p.m. against Las Vegas or in Boise against Idaho at 5:00 p.m. AST. The Wranglers lead the Steelheads in that best-of-five series, two games to one, with Game Four scheduled for tonight in Boise and Game Five, if necessary, returning to Vegas Wednesday.
Playoff tickets will be made available tomorrow at 8:00 a.m. at all CarrsTix locations, the Sullivan Arena Box Office, and the Alaska Aces team offices, located at 724 E. 15th Ave. Fans should be aware of the following two scenarios (all times AST):

Game 2: Sat., Apr. 17 Vegas at Alaska, Sullivan Arena, 7:00 p.m.

Game 4 (if necessary): Fri., Apr. 23 Alaska at Vegas, Orleans Arena, 6:00 p.m.
