The Elmira Jackals announced Thursday that they have acquired winger Jarrett Konkle and future considerations in a trade with the Johnstown Chiefs for winger Chanse Fitzpatrick. Konkle starred at Elmira College from 2001 to 2005 before skating in 81 games over two seasons with the Jackals from 2005 to 2006, scoring 67 points (40g-27a).

Konkle led the Elmira College Soaring Eagles in scoring in 2004-2005 with 41 points (21g-20a). With the Jackals in 2005-2006, Konkle was a UHL Group "A" All-Star, leading Elmira in goals that season.
