ESTERO, FL - The Florida Everblades, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Carolina Hurricanes and Florida Panthers, have announced the goaltender Chris Beckford-Tseu has been recalled to the Rochester Americans of the AHL. Goaltender Barry Brust has been assigned to Florida by the Houston Aeros of the American Hockey League.
Goaltender Chris Beckford-Tseu has been recalled to Rochester Americans of the AHL. The Toronto, Ontario native was assigned to the Everblades yesterday and appeared in the Everblades 5-2 victory. Beckford-Tseu stopped 30 of 32 shots to post his fourth victory in a 'Blades uniform. In nine appearances with Florida this season, he has two shutouts a 2.62 goals against average and a.916 save percentage.
The sixth-year professional has appeared in three games with the Amerks this season and posted a 4.30 goals against average and.857 save percentage.
Barry Brust returns to Florida after a brief return to Houston (AHL). Brust is 3-2-2 with the Everblades this season with a 2.91 goals against average and.906 save percentage. The Swan River. Manitoba native has appeared in a total of nine games with Florida this season.
