
Stingrays Welcome Defenseman Farrell

South Carolina Stingrays News Release
North Charleston, SC - The Kelly Cup Champion South Carolina Stingrays announced today that defenseman Grant Farrell has signed with the team. In keeping with club policy, terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Farrell, 26, joins the Stingrays after completing 15 games for the Knoxville Ice Bears of the SPHL registering six points (2g, 4a). The Calgary, AB native played in two pre-season games this season for the Stingrays against the Charlotte Checkers. Farrell will wear jersey number 36.
The Stingrays have also signed goaltender John Havrilack and defensemen Nello Ferrara to contracts. Terms of both agreements were not disclosed.
The Stingrays travel to Charlotte Friday, December 18 to battle the Checkers at 7:00 p.m. at Time Warner Cable Arena for game three of this regular season mini series. The Stingrays return to North Charleston Coliseum Saturday, December 19 against the Charlotte Checkers at 7:05 p.m. Saturday is Tailgate Saturday with the Rays!
